They're both REALLY nice, but I vote for the second one, because a) the first one makes me think that the person on the couch is hurt or in pain, and b) the second one has such a fun surprise to it. It makes me think: "ooh, this is going to be different."
1st one seems to me to have more visual impact and dynamic appeal. The 2nd shows some interesting action, but you have to look for it. I would love to receive one in my mailbox.
I agree with both Jim and Robin. I were to use it as marketing material I would use 1 for the immediate visual impact. I really like 2 as well, it is fun and demonstrates your work, I would use it as a cover.
Lil & Beth, I like #2 - it sums up the world "multimedia" - also looks as if people are gonna get jumped on which automatically excites people. Pain=excitement.
I'm so sad I'll have to miss it. I am photographing a wedding. Best of luck. Knock 'em dead - or jump on their face! =)
